How do you like to be supported when things feel hard?
A balance — I’ll read what you need in the moment.
One quiet calibration. A clear invitation. Then, one question at a time.

Think of this as our first visit. I’ll ask about your body, your emotions, and what matters to you right now—one question at a time.
Take your time. You can skip anything you’d rather not answer.

The descriptor updates continuously while dragging. Crossfade copy in 160–200 ms; do not snap the thumb. Persist the selected value and let it evolve later.
Dim the Home screen to 45–50%. Bring the card up 12–16 px while fading in over roughly 500 ms. Keep the invitation dismissible with “Maybe later.”
Tap the Ember to begin. Use a light haptic. Keep the Ember’s dimensions fixed; signal listening only through a slow internal glow and the updated instruction.
The user taps again to finish. Silence may pause transcription but must never submit an answer. No mandatory transcript confirmation between questions.
Matra responds aloud. The Ember’s internal light gently modulates with audio without changing its size. Typed conversations show the response in the typed thread.
After Matra finishes, crossfade the question over 300–400 ms. Extend the coral progress line and move the orbit dot clockwise with one 500–650 ms eased motion.
“Review what I shared” is always available but never blocks progress. Swipe up or tap the link to open a bottom sheet. Support edit, record again, and return to conversation.
Provide captions, VoiceOver labels, keyboard focus, 44 pt targets, sufficient contrast, and Reduced Motion behavior. Audio should never be the only way to receive essential information.
Motion should feel slow, warm, and responsive—not playful. Avoid bouncing, confetti, waveforms, expanding Ember geometry, or decorative movement without meaning.
